The MAT is a graduate level program intended for mid-career change students or individuals beginning a second career following retirement. The program offers initial teacher certification and a graduate degree for qualified students holding at least a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university. The program is targeted toward middle/secondary level education and the applicant's bachelor's degree must be in or closely related to the area of certification desired.
