STEPS Assessment System

NOTICE TO STUDENT TEACHERS

STEPS Mid-block Evaluation is now available! 

Step 1.  Log in and create your account

Your log in is your MSU email address (the old one--not LIVE).  Enter your user name and then select "first time user" and create your account.   Remember when you create your password you must include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character.  Special characters include:   `  ~  !  @  #  $  %  ^  &  *  (  )  - _  =  +  [  ]   {  }  \  ;  :  "  '  ?  <  > .   Your password should be at least 8 characters. (directions with screen shots can be found on the instruction sheet at http://education.missouristate.edu/70196.htm

Step 2.  Select the pencil and complete your self-evaluation. To the see the narrative for each standard select VIEW TRAITS.

Step 3.  You may respond to each question in the comments field.  Your University Supervisor will be able to tell you if responses to each question are required by your program.  Everyone is required to respond to the last question "Impact on Student Learning."

Step 4.  You should save as you work. When the survey is complete. Select "SAVE and SUBMIT EVALUATION"

STEPS--Student Tracking Evaluation Portfolio System

The STEPS System for Missouri State is an assessment management  system that will assist the education programs at Missouri State with program review and accreditation requirements.
