The Missouri State Child Development Center is located at 609 E. Cherry St. as a wing of the Professional Building.

The Center is part of the School of Teaching, Learning and Developmental Sciences in the College of Education and is licensed by the Department of Health and Senior Services and is accredited by the Missouri Accreditation of Childhood Care and Education Programs. Missouri Accreditation (MoA) provides quality standards for programs serving infants, toddlers, two through six- year-olds, and school age children used in accrediting both public and private programs. MoA serves as a guide to parents who want to choose the best possible care and education for their children. MoA recognizes programs that are striving for excellence.

The Missouri State Child Development Center operates year round and observes the University calendar. All programs operate Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
