Hi! My name is Dr. Don Keck, and I am the Acting Department Head for the Counseling, Leadership and Special Education Department (a.k.a. - CLSE)  at Missouri State University, in Springfield, MO.   I'm pleased that you are paying us a virtual visit.  This web site is not so new anymore, but remains a work in progress, so I still appreciate your patience with unfinished sections still under construction.  If you try a link and find nothing there, check back in a week or so and see if it's there then.

The Counseling program at Missouri State is the home for the Master of Science degree in Counseling, with three emphasis areas: Elementary School Counseling, Secondary School Counseling, and Community Agency Counseling. We are the largest single graduate degree program at Missouri State.  Our program is described in detail by following any of the links above. Even more detail in available in a powerpoint show used in our Student Orientation. These include our admission procedures, program requirements and a complete course listing.

We are trying to make this website useful to many people, including our current students, our alumni out in the world, others who might be interested in applying to our program, as well as colleagues around the country.
