Springfield is the third largest city in Missouri with a population exceeding 180,000. Springfield also has a greater metropolitan population of over 300,000. Given its size, the community enjoys a vibrant lifestyle, including a variety of restaurants, theaters, arts, festivals, recreational opportunities, and civic organizations. The city is located between two major lakes, Lake of the Ozarks and Table Rock Lake, and is about 45 minutes from Branson, which offers various attractions and entertainment opportunities. Springfield is about three hours from Kansas City, St. Louis, Little Rock and Tulsa and enjoys a reasonable cost of living along with a temperate climate.
