The Department of Educational Administration at Missouri State University offers degrees in educational administration at both the masters and specialist levels. The department also offers a cooperative doctorate (Ed.D.) through the University of Missouri at Columbia.

A Masters degree, based on 36 hours over the baccalaureate degree, and the specialist, based on 61/64 hours beyond the baccalaureate, are presently offered in the following areas:

Certification requirements for the State of Missouri may dictate additional prerequisites. Please contact an advisor as soon as possible for advisement.

A comprehensive examination must be passed by the candidate before a degree can be granted. Additionally a a guided research is required of all degrees. There is no residency requirement for a degree in the Department of Educational Administration at this time.
