On-site Program

The Missouri State On-site Program, the only one of its kind in the state, participates with local, Title 1 elementary schools to give Missouri State students over 125 hours of "real" classroom experience one semester before their student teaching experience. The Onsite program combines four methods courses Communication Arts, Social Studies, Science, & Math. Pre-service teachers learn innovative strategies to teach these important subjects to children and then have the opportunity use these strategies in actual classrooms. All activities are supervised by Missouri State faculty and the participating school teacher.
