A whole class lesson will be presented once a week in the classroom for 30 minutes. The following topics and lessons will be presented to the class:

Small Group Work
Small groups can be formed for class members or for a select few. These small groups usually meet for a 30 minute period for 3 to 6 weeks, as needed.
Elementary Showcase
Classroom teachers select a student to be showcased in the front hall of Greenwood for a two week period. Students may bring their materials to the counselor's office.
Greenwood Assistance Program
A team of teachers can provide assistance for students who have concerns in regards to academic achievement, behavior, and/or attendance. The team will make recommendations for the student, and will conference with the parents.
Individual Consultation
Students are welcome to come to the counselor's office to discuss their concerns. Students should indicate to their teacher where they are going and make sure it is an appropriate time to leave the classroom. Suggested times are before and after school, and during their recess and lunch.
