The high school Math Club meets throughout the school year. Club officers include a President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and Pi Day Co-Chair. Officers are elected at the annual organizational meeting with the President being a senior member of the organization.

Math Club activities include the preparation and hosting of the school's Pi Day Celebration held on or near March 14th each year and participation in local, state and national math competitions.

Mu Alpha Theta is a national High School and Junior and Community College Mathematics Honor Society. In order to qualify a student must have no semester grade lower than an A- in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2. A Student is invited to join after completion of these courses.

Greenwood received their charter on December 2, 2002.
