The national average take home pay for High School teachers is $57,6770 and $56,130 for Elementary School teachers. All of Missouri State University's secondary education programs are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the State of Missouri.
Missouri State University supports future educators at all levels of the college experience. Secondary education programs are offered through the college of the discipline being studied. Students are advised through their content area department which encourages maximum engagement. The Director of Secondary Education and College of Education staff offer administrative support to students in their pursuit of educator certification.
