Hello and welcome to Missouri State! I have been advising for almost 14 years and previously taught at the Lab School here on campus for ten years. I am a Missouri State graduate, French major and Music minor and am also certified in Special Education, EMR, and have a Masters Degree in Instructional Media and Technology. My interests and hobbies include music, travel, and learning new technologies. I thoroughly enjoy working with students and encourage you to take advantage of advisement services.

Welcome to Missouri State.  My name is Judy Pickering and I've been working as an advisor for the College of Education for over 3 years.  I received my Master of Arts in Teaching, May 2009 and my undergraduate studies were completed at Truman State (formally Northeast Missouri State University) in Business Administration/Marketing. I'm also responsible for coordinating recruitment efforts for the College of Education. I truly enjoy meeting with the education students as well as the incoming students and families eager to learn about our education programs.  My interests and hobbies include musical theatre, sports, travel and spending time with good friends. I am an advisor for the Professional Education Department as well as an Elementary per course instructor. I received my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Missouri State in May of 2009.  My Bachelors of Science is in Elementary Education from Evangel University. I have taught elementary school including the 1^st, 3^rd, 4^th & 5^th grades here in Missouri as well as in Pennsylvania. I am eager to work with students in planning and meeting their goals as a future teacher.

I am the Advisement Center Secretary and have worked at Missouri State for 11 years.  Prior to working here, I worked at the University of Texas Medical School and in the oil and gas industry in Houston, Texas. I am responsible for administration of the office and database queries and serve as the Hill Hall Building Coordinator.  I am also currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree. I enjoy working with our students; we are pround of them and celebrate the achievement of their dream.

Hello, my name is Scott Myers and I'm the Graduate Assistant in the Professional Education Advisement Office.  I earned my B.S. in Education at Louisiana Tech University and then a M.ED. in Administration and Supervision from Sam Houston State University.  I taught and coached in Texas and Louisiana for 8 years.  I recently completed a 3 year enlistment with the Army and currently I am working on a Masters in Students Affairs. We look forward to helping students become teachers!
