District Student Teaching Incentives

Below is a list of districts in the state of Missouri that have reported offering incentives to student teachers as of 4/25/2024. Incentives are not guaranteed. Contact the district if you have questions.

Branson R-IV $1,800 stipend to student teach, professional development
Diamond R-IV free breakfast and lunch for all student teachers, professional development training inclucing BIST resources, a laptop computer to use while student teaching
Excelsior Springs 40 $2,500 for completing student teaching at Excelsior Springs and an additional $2,500 for signing a teaching contract with Excelsior Springs
Kennett 39 paid student teaching opportunities
Marshall a salary paid to student teachers while doing their field experience
Moberly mileage reimbursement up to $250/semester
North Kansas City $5,000 stipend per semester-competitive and available to an estimated 50 students per year
North Side Community School  free breakfast and lunch, sign-on bonuses (curricular planning stipends)
Park Hill  $5,000 stipend for student teachers
Reeds Spring R-IV

Reeds Spring Partnership program: $1500 travel stipend per semester, lunch provided free of charge, substitute payment for any teaching time spent outside their regular classroom, opportunities for paid tutoring, guaranteed interview for open district positions within certification, year-long interns who complete their internship in-district and are hired in-district enter the salary schedule at year two

One-semester student teachers who complete their student teaching experience in-district and are hired in-district are provided a sign-on bonus of $500.
Springfield R-XII

Before/after schoool tutoring opportunities, Students doing a year-long student teaching internship start their first year of teaching at year 2 salary, athletic/activity stipend positions
