Counselor Advisory Boards

The CACREP Counseling Program has two active advisory boards that meet twice a year to provide both formative and summative feedback to our program.  Each board is made up of volunteer members from within the Mental Health community.

The School advisory board focuses on school counselor education directly related to the Elementary/Secondary School Counseling tracks. The Mental Health advisory board focuses on counselor education pertinent to the Mental Health Counseling track.  Both boards provide community-based feedback on program performance through their interaction with our students while in the community.  This, in turn, helps us address emergent needs in the community.
