Are you looking to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of child and family development? Or perhaps you want to dive deeper into classroom teaching for young children.

Our program is unique in that it blends both child and family development and early childhood teacher education. This flexible, fully online master’s degree in early childhood and family development will prepare you to nurture children’s growth and help families thrive across the life span. You can choose to take one course a semester or finish in three to four semesters.

Our program offers:

  • Core classes in early childhood education, child development and family development.
  • A good choice of electives.
  • A research project where you’ll get one-on-one help from faculty.

When you’re done, you’ll be equipped to apply your expertise in a variety of practice settings and disciplines. Examples include early childhood classrooms and centers, government and social agencies, nonprofit organizations and schools.
