The Behavior Consultant (BC) will work with school districts to develop staff capacity with individual and classroom behavior management strategies, data collection and interventions.  The BC will assist in conducting and coordinating Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and in developing Behavior Intervention Plans that address students’ inappropriate behaviors and provide a means to help the students become more academically successful.

Assist Missouri school districts (through training, coaching, and technical assistance) in improving academic and social/behavioral outcomes for all students, but especially students with disabilities, with the development and implementation of effective behavior management strategies, Behavior Intervention Plans and Functional Behavior Assessments.

Train teams to design Behavior Intervention Plans that address classroom organization, effective instruction, social skills instruction, executive function instruction, and behavior modification.
