Aligned and Connected - Teacher Development System

Beginning Teacher Assistance Program (BTAP)

Ongoing, job-embedded, research-based support for new teachers throughout their first year. Part of the SW Regional Teacher Development System, which offers supports for the entire teaching career through the Agency for Teaching, Leading, and Learning.

Paired Learning

The paired learning group provides time for mentors and new teachers to learn together as they network with other regional mentor/new teacher pairs. The group becomes a collaborative support system for both the new teachers and the mentors.

Mentor Training

Give your teacher leaders the training they need to grow as an educator as they become a successful mentor for new teachers.

Statewide Teacher Academy

Teacher academy participants obtain skills in curriculum design, using data to drive instruction, the effective use of instructional strategies, and increasing student engagement.

Teacher Academy Graduates (TAG)

This is a year-long experience for graduates of teacher academy. TAG expands on the work of teacher academy and continues the learning towards teacher leadership.

Professional Development Committee Training (PDC)

Learn about the Missouri Professional Learning Guidelines. Network with other professional development committee members from other districts. Learn about the new Mentoring Program Standards and Beginning Teacher Assistance Guidelines. This is a great training to find out how the Agency for Teaching, Leading, & Learning can partner with you to help with your district's professional learning plan.
