The EdS degree in special education and assessment prepares students for a variety of career possibilities. Graduates of the program will move further along the pay scale and qualify for special education administration roles like:

Generally, graduates work with school districts or school systems to aid in the evaluation of students' educational needs. They employ standardized intelligence tests, individual academic achievement tests, behavioral evaluations, aptitude and interest tests, as well as additional methods to provide valid and reliable information to a child's educational team.
