Clinical experiences: Giving you relevant training

As part of your degree requirements, you’ll complete two courses that are clinical experiences.

LTC 781: Assessment of Literacy Problems
LTC 782: Remediation of Literacy Problems

Your clinical experiences are worth six credit hours and help you meet the requirements set by the International Literacy Association and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) for Special Reading Teacher, K-12, Certification.

Complete your clinical experiences close to home

You can complete your clinical experiences in your own district. A full-time Missouri State faculty member supervises you.
