Scholarships and Financial Aid

Each year, the College of Education (COE) awards approximately 60 scholarships to current undergraduate and graduate students pursuing education and child and family development related degrees. While many of these scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic standing, others are determined at least in part by financial need, community service, leadership, major, membership in student organizations, etc. All students must complete the FAFSA and the online MSU annual scholarship application to be eligible for all applicable awards. If additional application materials are required, the details are included within the scholarship’s description. Specific scholarships of interest to CLSE majors include the Emily Nelson Moseley Memorial Scholarship for undergraduate special education majors and the Inmon Memorial Scholarship for counseling majors.

Did you know?

Many of the College of Education’s scholarships have been established by successful alumni, present and former faculty, professional organizations and businesses that recruit regularly on the Missouri State campus. The generosity of these groups and individuals allows many CLSE students to commit more time to their studies and student organizations, thus increasing their marketability upon graduation.

If you are interested in creating a scholarship or award, please contact the Missouri State University Foundation at 417-836-4143.
