Why pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching degree at Missouri State?

This program allows students to obtain a certificate to teach in a 9-12 or K-12 school setting and a master's degree concurrently.

The MAT may be obtained in the following areas of certification. If you do not see your area of interest listed, please refer to the section above titled Is the MAT right for me? The corresponding Missouri Content Assessment(s) a.k.a. MoCA(s) are content area exams taken by all candidates who are pursuing a teaching certificate in Missouri in order to demonstrate competency.
