Extended learning for clinical requirement

As a candidate in the graduate literacy program, you will be required to complete a six credit hour graduate clinical comprised of RDG 781 and 782. Working with students is the center of this clinical experience, which involves working with students at varying grade levels to meet DESE certification requirements. The clinical may be completed in the candidate's own district supervised by a full-time MSU faculty member.

The six hour clinical meets the requirements set by the International Literacy Association and Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) for Special Reading Teacher, K-12 certification.
