Graduation Pin

To salute the accomplishments of our teacher candidates the College of Education is awarding a "Graduation Pin" to all students who graduate at both the undergraduate and graduate level. This pin is awarded at the Graduation Reception held each semester immediately preceding graduation. This lapel pin is COE's gift to students who we believe possess exceptional knowledge, skills and dispositions for teaching and a willingness to continue a lifelong pursuit of learning as a reflective practitioner. Graduate students will receive the pin with the black band and the undergraduates will receive the one with the maroon band.

The reception is typically held every Fall and Spring semester on graduation day prior to the COE commencement. Please check with the COE - Dean's office at 417-836-5254 for each semester’s location and time.
