STEPS: Forgot Password

Forgot Password or Password Problems

First, go to the STEPS log-in screen:

https://steps.csuchico.edu/

• Select FORGOT PASSWORD? (lower left)
• Enter your Username (Students: use your full MSU email address, not your campus ID)
• Enter your email address (Faculty and Students must use their MSU email address, Cooperating Teachers must use the school/professional email provided to the MSU University Supervisor)
• University Supervisors and Students check your MSU email. Cooperating Teachers check your school/professional email. A new password will be sent to you from the "STEPS TEAM."
• Use the new password sent to you to log into STEPS
• Once logged into STEPS, you may change your password. If you do not see "Change Password," click the "Home" Tab at the top.
