Faculty Research Fund

When indirect recovery or program support funds are available, the College Dean may set aside funds to support faculty research. Faculty may apply for funding any time during an academic year to support data collection, instrument design, data entry, reporting and/or professional training related to it. Application for funding should be made to the chair of the Faculty Advisory Committee (FAC) and the COE Dean via email.  The FAC will review applications once a month and make recommendation to the Dean. While there is no limit to the amount of funding that may be requested, priority will be given to requests that do not exceed $1,000. A maximum of 250 words, excluding the budget numbers, should be used to address the following: brief description of the study to be conducted, purpose of the funding, budget and rationale.   The COE Budget Committee shall approve the total amount of funds to be used for faculty research during any fiscal year.
